Day 776: The Leaky Faucet

Ah, the comfort of things. Taken to a new endearing level here by Ted Kooser.

The Leaky Faucet - Ted Kooser

All through the night, the leaky faucet
searches the stillness of the house
with its radar blip: who is awake?
Who lies out there as full of worry
as a pan in the sink? Cheer up,
cheer up,
the little faucet calls,
someone will help you through your life.

  2. Touchless faucets, sleek and clean
No need to touch, no need to lean
Water flows with just a wave
Hygienic and modern, the way to pave

No more worries, no more doubt
Germ-free hands, no need to pout
    Touchless faucets, the future's bright
A simple solution, shining with light
