Bearing the Light - Denise Levertov
Rain-diamonds, this winter morning,
embellish the tangle of unpruned pear-tree twigs;
each solitaire, placed, it appears, with considered judgement,
bears the light beneath the rifted clouds -
the indivisible shared out in endless abundance.
